I thought I would send you our Upper Hand Digital April newsletter as we’re connected through LinkedIn.
Marketing Support Group
We’ve had great success with our marketing support group for SMEs which are held on the last Friday of the month at the Queen Adelaide, Epsom.
The idea of the group is to share marketing ideas. Topics have included Facebook marketing, blogging and video marketing. If you would like to find out more or to receive notes, please go to:
Tim On The Radio
I was delighted to appear on Brooklands Radio for the Business Matters show, presented by Jackie Mitchell (not a relative as far as I am aware!)
We chatted about my recent campaign successes for clients using LinkedIn and blogging in particular. One client, for instance, has won several large contracts as a result of my efforts.
Interesting Results From Blogging Experiment
As you may know, I believe every SME should be updating their websites on at least a weekly basis – even if their site is just being used as an online brochure.I was involved in an interesting experiment in February and March for a website which sells high ticket items. Weekly blogging, the main marketing activity for attracting traffic to this particular site, was stopped during this period. The results surprised me to an extent.Find out more here.
Both my daughters – Harriet (9) and Alice (5) are doing well at school. I’ve seen recently a wonderful Easter bonnet parade and a great display of Irish dancing. What I’ve realised is that I’m rubbish at Easter Egg hunts – I’ve been beaten twice by the girls!
Our business is growing and much of it is thanks to recommendations. If you know of any business needing our help – particularly on the content side (blogging/press releases/email marketing campaigns etc.) – please do pass on our details.
We’ve proved that quality content really is one of the most important strategies SMEs can do to attract more business.
Until the end of May, we’re giving £25 worth of ITunes vouchers to anyone referring us new business worth over £200.
