According to the Content Marketing Institute, Content marketing is being used by P&G, Microsoft, Cisco Systems and John Deere. The Institute say content marketing is also being developed and executed by small businesses and one-person shops around the globe. The Roper Public Affairs also reports that 80 percent of business decision makers prefer to receive company information in a series of articles versus an advertisement.
Two or three pages of quality, fresh targeted content per month can potentially have a huge impact for many businesses of all sizes as I have seen so many times myself. Not only does fresh content help to attract new visitors but it can also help build trust with potential new clients. So even if you just refer people to your website, new pages of content can contribute to the client conversion process. Content should include adding testimonials and customer reviews to build trust further.
